WhatsApp has implemented a new feature that allows you to search within a conversation by the date a specific message was sent or received without having to “scroll” to find the specific message.

The Meta-owned messaging platform has been working on this feature for months now, but as WABetaInfo shows, it’s an option that was dismissed years ago and relaunched last September.

WhatsApp already has buttons for searching text and files, either in the chat interface itself, or in individual conversations or specific groups on the platform.

In the first case, the magnifying glass is located at the top of the interface and contains filters such as unread messages, photos, videos, links, audio, documents, surveys, links, etc.

To search individually, on a specific conversation, press the 3-dot button on the top right of the screen and tap[検索]You have to select an option. In this case, only text writing is allowed and there are two arrows to navigate through the chat if the search term is multiplied.

WhatsApp is currently working on a feature that will allow you to search for messages according to the date they were sent or received. This is because this portal is validated with the latest stable update 23.1.75 for iOS on the platform.

Already available on the App Store, this version includes some of the latest innovations implemented by the company, such as a shortcut to open a chat with yourself and the ability to hide being “online”.

In addition to them, the option to share images, videos and documents from other applications has been added by simply dragging and dropping in WhatsApp chat without having to go to the “Attachment” option.
