El Salvador received the Norwegian Jewel cruise ship this Sunday morning at Acajutla port in Sonsonate. The cruise arrived on the shores of El Salvador with his over 3,000 foreign tourists of various nationalities from all over the world.
The Commonwealth Administration and Port Authority (CEPA) wrote, “More than 3,000 cruise passengers, mostly from the United States, arrived in the country on this day to learn about the impressive sights.”
The Ministry of Tourism said Norwegian Jewel is considered one of the world’s largest and most luxurious cruise ships. On board, enjoy 12 restaurants, 11 bars, pools, casino, jacuzzi and spa.
Additionally, they emphasized that the ship is part of the first cruise season in El Salvador from October 2022 to May 2023.
The government indicated that the cruise ship’s arrival was coordinated jointly with CEPA, El Salvador Customs and MITUR. They also stress that the boat’s arrival is essential to “boosting tourism and the Salvadoran economy.”
Norwegian Jewel will also arrive in El Salvador on December 17, 2022. During his boat visit, more than 2,000 of his foreign tourists of different nationalities came from all over the world.
