After Shakira released a controversial song against Gerard Pique and Clara Chia Marti, several celebrities have spoken out about it. One of them was the singer Shaila Durkal, the daughter of the famous translator Rocio Durkal. To the surprise of many, Shayla supported Pique and criticized the Colombian.
In an interview with the television program Plan de Tarde, Shayla assured that she was having fun driving Pique Twingo to the Kings League meeting (a soccer tournament for streamers that she organizes). “I liked the Twingo thing,” he said.
Regarding Shakira’s song, Shayla assured that her parents raised her differently. “I was raised in a way where my parents always taught me to always keep that privacy in life, share what you want to share, obviously, but I believe there’s a very thin line that you shouldn’t cross. You can make heartbreaking songs, but I personally don’t like to get to that point,” he said.
This comment brought him a lot of criticism from the Colombian’s followers on social networks.
