The City Hall has scheduled free activities as part of the fifth edition of Nuit Blanche 2023. The events took place on an integrated route with 9 stations between the historic center and Zona Rosa, starting at 16:00 and organized by the secretary. A variety of cultural artistic expressions can be appreciated in “White Night”, from the heart of El Salvador to Cuscatlán Park, Salvador del Mundo Square, Beethoven’s Fountains to the Zona Rosa, to a party for the whole family.
The inauguration took place in the historic center with a concert by the San Salvador Symphony Orchestra, in Gerardo Barrio Square. Performances by the Bicentennial Band, Batukada music, dance performances, guided tours, parades and workshops were held in the main squares, streets and avenues that have been restored thanks to the implementation of the historic center revitalization plan.
Cuscatlan Park featured activities such as outdoor cinema, inflatables and bike tours, face painting, juggling, clown shows, mimes and among other shows.
Beethoven fountains featured folk, contemporary, breakdance, urban dance, among others, at the Ministry of Culture’s dance festival. Entrepreneurs who participated in the Sívar Emprende Fair and Plaza Salvador del Mundo, the residents of the capital were enthralled by the rhythm of soloists and musical groups.
