Nayib Bukele announced his intention to seek re-election on 15 September.
Polling firm TResearch today released a poll showing that 94.1% of respondents will vote for re-election of Republic President Nayib Bukele during the month of November. 47.6% are male and 52.4% are female. Both groups are 18+.
Results are categorized as follows:
• Male (47.6%)
• 12.7% of 18-29 year olds
• 15.5% at ages 30-49
• 19.4% over age 50
• Female (52.4%)
• 18.3% of 18-29 year olds
• 18.6% of 30-49 year olds
• 15.5% 50+
TResearch surveyed 1,000 people aged 18 and over who live in El Salvador and have internet access on a fixed or mobile device between November 19th and 20th. Interviews were conducted at home, work, or public places frequented by the survey sample.
The survey also revealed that 94.8% were willing to vote for Bukele in October, compared to 94.1% in November. In September, 94.3% were willing to vote for his immediate re-election.
Only 4.5% of those surveyed expressed a decision not to vote for the president who will be re-elected in November, compared to 3.9% in October, and a 0.6% increase in intention not to vote for Bukele. In September, 4.3% did not vote for re-election.
