A fee of $0.01 per square meter has been set by the Ministry of Housing for social benefit qualification services for housing subdivisions approved through the regularization process.
Approval of the price of the procedure for social benefit classification of regularized residential subdivisions is included in the amendment of Executive Agreement No. 1139 of August 12, 2022.
The Decree explains that the amendments have been made to “establish preferential prices” for this type of procedure.
The Ministry of Housing’s Special Activities Fund included the provision of social benefit qualification services for housing construction and subdivision land at a rate of $0.10 per square meter.
However, this declaration was not included in the residential subdivision during the regularization process.
Prices for housing construction include: Site approval, $60 per square meter up to 500 square meters. Subdivision or urbanization permit, $0.20 per square meter up to 50,000 square meters. Building permits, repairs, extensions, alterations, wall-to-wall, $200 per square meter, up to 500 square meters, etc.
