The second Thursday in the first Grand Slam tournament is the day for the semi-finals of the female tennis players. In the first pair, the 22nd seeded Jelena Ribakina and the 24th seeded Viktorija Azarenka are competing for the final, and in the second, the 5th seeded Arina Sabalenka and the unseeded Magda Linnette.

Matic Križnik reached the semi-finals of the doubles in his first ever appearance at junior Grand Slam tournaments. 17-year-old Crossbreed and Italian Federico Bondioli defeated the American-Czech midfielder Alexander Frusina/Jan Hrazdil in the quarterfinals with 7:6 (10), 5:7, 10:7.

The competitors in the semifinals are the seventh seeds from the USA Learner Tien and Cooper Williams. Duel on court no. 7 is already underway.

Matic Križnik, a protégé of former Slovenian tennis player Blaž Kavčič, also played among individuals. The 43rd youngster in the ITF ranking was eliminated in the first round against Turk Karahan Atakan.

Among the juniors, Ela Nala Milić also played. The daughter of former basketball player Marko Milić was eliminated in the first round of singles and in the second round of doubles in her third appearance at the Big Four youth tournaments.
