Jorge Rodriguez coached FAS at Clausura 2022/DEM Archives
Isidro Metapán defeated CD FAS 1-0 on day 10 of the Clausura 2023 tournament to win the “Santaneco derby” at the Jorge Suárez Landaverde stadium, for coach Jorge “Zarco” Rodríguez Lime. This victory had a taste of revenge against Octavio Zambrano, Ocelot’s tamer.
“This win has a special flavor because their coach inspired me to get out of it. I already know why but football has this I know what they said was a lie but they are what football has and we I wanted to win and I did,” Rodriguez said.

“Zarco” had been appointed sporting director by FAS’s new owner, AGM Sports, but decided to step down on September 1 last year due to disagreements with the board.
“I haven’t made any decisions about hiring domestic or foreign players. I’m not going to be there,” Rodriguez told digital media Direct Game.
