World champion Halvor Egner Granerud was the best in qualifying with 142 meters before Tuesday’s third match of the Norwegian tour in Lillehammer. The best Slovenian was Anže Lanišek in seventh place.
Granerud beat his compatriot Johann Andrej Forfang by 0.6 points, who jumped half a meter less, the third was the Japanese Rjoju Kobajaši, who jumped 132.5 m, but was already 12.9 points behind.
All six Slovenians qualified for the match. Lanišek jumped 131 m and took seventh place. At the 1994 Olympic venue, Žiga Jelar was 11th (127.5 m), world champion from Planica Timi Zajc 16th (124 m), Lovro Kos 17th (128 m) , Domen Prevc 19. (126 m) and Rok Masle 35. (124 m).
Tuesday’s match will start at 16:10. It will be broadcast on TV Slovenija 2 and on MMC.
