In the elite class MXGP today’s race was won by the 2021 world champion Jeffrey Herlings, who was second in both races. His compatriot won the other Glenn Coldenhoff, who, due to a poor first start, did not end up on the top step, but had to settle for second place. The victory was decided by the better second run of the Belgian Jag Geerts, because like the Dutchman Kay de Wolf, he won one race and finished in second place in one. With the same gain of 47 points, the Belgian celebrated his victory in the second run. The third was a Frenchman Thibaut Benistant (38).
