The sports tribunal of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has deducted ten points from Juventus due to irregularities in its operations in recent years. The Old Lady dropped from second to seventh in Serie A.

The football giant from Turin is not guaranteed a place in the Champions League in the 2023/24 season after today’s punishment.

Nedved is also among the seven acquittedThe court acquitted seven former Juventus club officials, including former star and director Pavlo Nedved, for whom prosecutors had demanded an eight-month ban from sports. In addition to Nedved, Paolo Garimberti, Assia Grazioli-Venier, Caitlin Mary Hughes, Daniela Marilungo, Francesco Roncaglio and Enrico Vellano were also acquitted.

On January 20 of this year, the Italian Football Federation deducted 15 points from the old lady due to illegal transfers, but in the second half of April, the Italian Olympic Committee (Coni) tribunal canceled the penalty and returned the case to the FIGC Court of Appeal, which today deducted ten points from the 36-time Italian champion points.
