The International Ski Federation has confirmed the Alpine Skiing World Cup calendar for the 2023/24 season. Maribor is not on it again this year, so female skiers will compete for the golden fox again in Kranjska Gora at the beginning of January.
Maribor last hosted the World Cup competition in 2019, and since then the female skiers have had to move to Kranjska Gora four times. In addition to Maribor, Zagreb also dropped out for the next season, where they also had problems with the preparation of the track.
The season will start in Sölden at the end of October. Specialists for fast disciplines will have a ski test before leaving for the USA on Zermatt, which was dropped last year due to lack of snow.
A more or less traditional program follows, but again this year the skiers of technical disciplines travel across the puddle at the end of February. Slovenia will host female skiers in Kranjska Gora on the 6th. and on January 7 and skiers on the 9 and March 10.
This time the final will be at the end of March in Saalbach.
