Pep Guardiola Manchester City manager says he drank all the alcohol in Manchester To celebrate the league title won last Sunday.
The Spanish coach explained the celebrations that took place last Sundayafter drawing with Brighton & Hove Albion in the penultimate match of the Premier League on Wednesday.
“40 hours ago in Manchester I drank so much alcohol that I was a little worried that we would be performing significantly worse than the last 4, 5 or 6 months. I’m happy, we don’t want to lower the level before the FA Cup and Champions League finals,” Guardiola told the BBC.
“By 10:30pm I was in bed. I was exhausted. I know that when we win the Premier League, to celebrate it,” the Spaniard added.
Sunday City will end the Premier League this week with an insignificant away game against Brentford.
