Celje Pivovarna Laško handball players started the new European season in Denmark. In the 1st round of the Champions League, they lost to Gudme away from home in Group B. He celebrated with 38:36.
In the first half, after a partial result of 6:2, the team from Celje led with a four-goal difference (3:7), but they allowed the hosts to tie the game at 8:8. They won a very even first half (18:19), and the even game continued in the second half as well.
The hosts showed more composure in the playoffs. He pulled the team over the finish line with two consecutive seven-meter goals Morten Toft Olsen. He set the final outcome Linus Niclas Persson.
He was the best scorer of the match with eight goals Stefan Žabićhe added six for Celje Mitja Janc, Team Cokan, Nik Cirovic, Ante Ivankovic and Žiga Mlakar they scored four each. He was in the best mood with the hosts Hans Aaron Mensing (7 goals), they added six each Anton Lindskog and Persson.
