
Rubén de la Barrera appointed as new selecta manager
The Salvadoran Football Federation has announced Rubén de la Barrera as the new coach of the Salvadoran national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers between the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The national soccer governing body posted a video on social media saying, “Congratulations!” Rubén de la Barrera, new manager of the selectors. We are excited about the arrival of this talented Spanish coach. May this new stage bring success and exciting matches for our team!”
