The former technical director of ColoColo and Universidad Católica arrived at the Manojito de Carnations with a tough mission to save the category from the relegation zone just one year after being promoted from Primera B.
After the first round of the national championship, Magallanes is in last place with 8 of 42 points, 4 of which come from penultimate Deportes Copiapo and 8 from the red zone.
