According to various German media outlets, the former Bayern Munich manager will replace Hansi Flick following his poor performance.

The former Bayern Munich manager said this, as reported by numerous German media outlets. Julian Nagelsmann is set to be named as Germany’s new coach, replacing Hansi Flick, who was sacked following the European team’s recent poor performance.

According to Kicker and Bild newspapers, some details of the contract, including a monthly salary of 400,000 euros, still need to be revealed, but the firm is already ready and his appointment will become a reality.

Nagelsmann, 36, looks set to be on the bench again for the first time since he was sacked by Bayern in March 2023 and replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

Curiously, when Flick was selected as Germany’s national team coach, he was appointed as Bayern’s successor to replace Flick. The latter was dismissed on September 10 due to poor performance at the top of the Mannschaft. The day after the humiliation suffered in the friendly match against Japan (4-1) He was replaced on an interim basis by DFB sporting director Rudi Völler.

As a precautionary measure, it should be noted that Nagelsmann’s contract runs until the Eurocup in 2024, when Germany want to make their mark again.
