Luck or magic?: Adrian Mannarino’s impossibility at the Astana ATP



He didn’t believe it either. World number 51 Frenchman Adrien Manarino starred at an impossible point in his duel with Belgium’s David Goffin at the ATP in Astana.

French Adrian Manarino No. 51 in the ATP rankings, starred in Impossible Points this Wednesday during his duel against Belgium. David Goffin Round 2 (66th) Astana ATP Kazakhstan.

The Frenchman won with a partial lead 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 and made a play that is hard to explain at the start of the third set.

After Goffin’s excellent serve, Manarino responded to a huge demand from the right side of the court and walked off the plane for the official broadcast.

The return was so high that the ball barely made it past the other side of the net, but the Belgian took a bite and clinched it to safety. It was a mistake.

And, strangely enough, The ball had an unexpected effect and was returned to Adrian Mannarino’s side to the surprise of the public, Goffin, and the French tennis player himself.

It’s worth noting that this victory moves the No. 51 ranked player to face Russia’s Andrei Rublev (No. 9) in the quarterfinals of the Astana ATP.
