The giant Apple announced on Thursday that it will launch an application dedicated to classical music with 5 million titles at the end of March.
It is “the world’s largest catalog of classical music” and its current application, Apple Music, is one of the most used applications in the digital world.
According to Apple, the application will have an exclusive release that puts it in direct competition with IDAGIO, a classical music and concert application with a library of 2 million titles.
With Apple Music Classical, fans will be free to use the search engine “by composer, piece, conductor or even catalog number,” the statement explains.
Subscribers also have access to biographies and an “extensive guide to many important works.”
Apple Music subscribers get free access to this new application.
