North Korean leader Kim Jong Un arrived in Vladivostok in Russia’s far east, where he met with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who presented him with strategic bombers and hypersonic Dagger missiles.
Kim, who is on a several-day visit to Russia, where he also met with the president on Wednesday Vladimir Putinis to the airport Kneviči arrived from the city Komsomolsk on the Amur. There, on Friday, he visited a factory of military aircraft and other equipment.
Putin announced on Wednesday that Kim would attend the presentation of Russia’s Pacific Fleet in Vladivostok.
Moscow is supposed to be interested to buy North Korean munitions to continue fighting in Ukraine, and Pyongyang wants Russian help in developing its missile program, reports AFP.
Moscow announced that no agreement was signed during Kim’s visit to Russia.
Kim, who arrived in Russia by train on Tuesday, visited the new Russian cosmodrome on Wednesday accompanied by Putin Eastern.
According to Russian news agencies, during the visit to Kim, Putin promised Moscow’s help in developing North Korea’s space program. He told reporters that he sees possibilities for military cooperation between the two countries.
