With the accession of Croatia to the Schengen area, the interest of Slovenians in buying plots, houses, apartments in nearby coastal areas has increased. Croatian real estate agencies noticed a larger increase in sales last year.

Many buyers are from Maribor, Celje, Ljubljana. What Slovenians most often buy and how much they are willing to shell out for it?

Big price increase in the last three years

And what convinces the buyer the most? “Location, quality, and the most important thing is the feeling of the buyer in an apartment. The price is not really decisive when buying,” answered Krnić. According to him, when concluding a deal, the answer to the question of why we are buying real estate is also crucial.
