Bizarrap Music Session #53 feat. Shakira / Europa Press

Shakira achieved the top Latin debut on YouTube with more than 33 million views in less than 24 hours, surpassing the platform record previously held by Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito.”

Bizarrap Music Session #53 has bettered several launch figures in its first 24 hours, including those achieved by any song from the Argentinian DJ. On YouTube, after 16 hours, it already records 253,256 comments.

The song is number one on this platform in Spain and some Latin American countries, but also on Twitter, with “Shakira and Bizarrap”, “RIP Piqué” or “Clara-mente” among the trending topics. Bizarrap’s tweet announcing the release along with a snippet of the song has nearly 8 million views.

In addition, it has been retweeted by 85,000 users (including Shakira herself), with over 10,000 comments and 439,500 favorites. The video uploaded by the Argentinian producer on Instagram already has 6.5 million likes and more than 275,000 comments.
