A new festival is taking place in Ljubljana under the auspices of the Ljudmila Society Adela. At the festival, attention is paid to practices emerging in the field of generative arts like are pictures, sound, video, text, computer code and many other contents. If they during the course paid forms of generating such content began to dominate, at Ljudmila they want to focus mainly on freely accessible and open source technologies, thereby emphasizing collective work, publicly available tools and a creative approach to this genre of computer art. The festival includes workshops, an art fair, live performances and accompanying events. Entrance to the festival is free.

Already the first edition of the festival focused on education, presentation of artists and socializing“Adela is devoted to practices emerging in the expanded field of generative arts. The center of the action is the fair of generative arts, called Parameter, which will feature works that use generative and algorithmic tools to create analog-digital entanglements. “Practices will be presented at the fair, like they are generative drafting, algorithmic weaving, analog computing, and synthetic sculptures,” they announced from Ljudmila.
