In the match of the 15th round of the Telemach First League, Koper players defeated Rogaška 0:1 away from home. The match was decided by Enej Jelenič in the 26th minute. With the same result, Mura was better than Aluminij at home. Maribor is currently visiting Domžale.
In Rogaška Slatina, Jelenič scored after a precise cross Luke Vešner Tičić from the right side, when he routinely checked home goalkeeper Roko Vodiško from less than ten meters away.
With the victory, the Koper players closed the gap to the leader Celje, which is waiting for a derby against Olimpija on Sunday at 3:00 p.m., to three points, at least for one day. They extended their undefeated streak to eleven games, while Rogaška, which was an equal, sometimes better competitor, suffered its fifth consecutive defeat.
Primorje was the closest to increasing the lead in the 53rd minute, when Nejc Gradišar deflected the ball from a corner on the goal line after Franjo Prce’s shot. Six minutes later, Nardin Mulahusejnović tried from 15 meters, but the ball flew just over the goal.
In the last part of the match, the home team had more of the game, were more concrete, but not enough to change the outcome. In the 85th minute, Mark Pabai prevented Slatina from equalizing with good intervention.
Tripi made Fazaneria happy
In the second match of the day, after four modest rounds, Mura only won, and at the same time won for the first time in the season in front of the home crowd.
Aluminij, which did not have a single shot on target, suffered its third defeat in the last four games.
The beginning of the match did not offer many exciting events, after less than half an hour the hosts did get a chance, but even then Kobie Morris was in a prohibited position. Sobočani were again active in the attack in the 81st minute, when Matic Maruško fired from a distance, but Jan Petek did not have a difficult task.
