The hockey players of Sija Acroni Jesenice beat Gardena 2:5 away from home a month ago, but this time they lost 1:6 to this rival from the Dolomites on home ice after a very poor first period.
After the break due to the under-20 World Cup (Slovenia won first place in Bled and qualified for the higher class of this competition for the following year), the Jeseničani were unrecognizable especially in the first third, the visitors (they are in the lower house) went like this at the first break with an advantage of 0:4.

Celje lost at home against Zell am See with 2:4 (0:2, 1:1, 1:1), after trailing 0:2 after only four minutes. Right at the beginning of the second period, the visitors took a 0:3 lead. Mark Cepon then in the 31st minute (with a numerical advantage) gave the hosts some hope, but there was no turning point.
In the ranking, the hockey players from Celje are in second last place with 18 points. On Thursday, they will be visiting Selva near Gardena.
